Black Eyed Peas

Black Eyed Peas

1 (1 pound) bag dried black eyed peas
1 onion
3 cloves garlic
1 (14.5 ounce) can diced tomatoes w/basil
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon oregano
Dash Italian seasoning
1 ham bone

Soak beans overnight. Sauté garlic & onion in olive oil. Put remaining ingredients in large pot with peas, garlic, and onion and bring to a boil. Turn on low and cook for several hours.
