Boursin Cheese Spread

Boursin Cheese Spread

2 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese-I use 1 regular and 1 low fat, at room temperature
½ cup (1 stick) butter-NOT margarine, at room temperature
½ teaspoon garlic powder
½ teaspoon dried Oregano
¼ teaspoon dried Basil
¼ teaspoon dried Thyme
¼ teaspoon dried Marjoram
¼ teaspoon dried Dill Weed
¼ teaspoon Cracked Black Pepper

Blend the cream cheese and butter together until smooth. Add herbs and peppers and mix well. Chill overnight. Serve at room temperature with assorted crackers, such as Carr’s.

Note: This makes the equivalent of 4 packages of packaged Boursin cheese from the grocery store for the price of 1-nice bargain.
