Lemon Sorbet

Lemon Sorbet

2 cups fresh lemon juice, about 8 lemons-in a bind use the bottle kind and add the zest of 1 lemon
2 cups sugar
Zest of 3 lemons (4 if using bottled lemon juice
1 cup heavy cream
½ cup water

Process all ingredients in a blender. Freeze in an ice cream maker following manufacturer’s instructions. I have a Donvier and it freezes in less than 30 minutes-instant gratification!

Makes 1 quart
