Ice Cream
This ice cream is great and does not contain eggs.
4 cups half and half
1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
2 teaspoons almond extract
1 teaspoon salt
1(16 ounce) bag frozen fruit (strawberries, peaches, blueberries), pureed in a food processor, optional
In a large bowl, mix together half and half, sweetened condensed milk, vanilla and almond extracts, and salt. Add fruit, if desired. Chill overnight. Pour chilled mixture into an ice cream maker and freeze mixture according to your maker’s directions. This ice cream will be soft. Spoon ice cream into an airtight container and freeze for a couple of hours, or overnight, to firm.
